Too bad it ended up in a flippers hands. He'll be disappointed that he can't turn a buck on it and then part it out and crush the body. _________________ 1981 931 CGT replica, OEM CGT intercooler, .8 BAR WG spring, GTS Headlights, Innovative Wide band A/F, A/C delete, 16" Fuchs, Weltmeister 200lb lowering springs, Bilstein HDs front, Koni Sport rears. |

hmm, no reserve, starting at 2K. If one could get a PPI or some inspectioon done before bidding, that seems like a reasonable price. _________________ 1978 924, aka The Red Rocker |

That car has some real potential. I wish shipping from the East Coast to 924 barren wilderness (Colorado) wasn't so cost prohibitive. After buying a car (on either coast) it's rough to shell out 35-45% of the car value to ship it, knowing the $$'s it will take to make even a decent example like this into a really nice car. Especially when in the end, you'll be extremely lucky if the car is worth half of what you've put into it. I guess it's a good thing I'm not looking for an investment, just another fun car to drive.
Maybe, if it runs as well as he says, I could fly in and make a Cannonball run back to CO. Gas & a one way plane ticket, hmmm... I'll keep an eye on this one. |
