Came across this site that shows 924's for sale.
Their engine pictures no decel valve. I wonder what difference it makes drivability wise.

Instead it looks like the manifold is plumbed directly into the CIS rubber boot. |

The vacuum line on mine was disconnected when I got it, and it has a super high idle with the line connected, so I've run with mine disabled forever.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll route the vacuum lines as shown above and give it a try. Mine seems to be stuck closed anyway... |

That looks almost exactly like my British car.
The vacuum loop you see from the CIS boot to the back of the throttle body has a takeoff that is connected to the brake booster.
