The first bearing at the front od the Torque Tube (engine side) is less than an inch from the flange. Is this the right location for it. Has it creeped forward?

Highly doubtful that it moved. If it did move a tiny bit, not worth worrying about, IMO.

I cannot seem to find in Haynes nor the shop manual the torque value for the four bolts that hold the flex (drive) plate assembly to the torque tube on an Automatic.
