Good news is, top end rebuilds aren't terrible. Better news is that it's a good excuse to do what you want to the top end!

On another note: Holy shit! How'd you burn those puppies up like that!?

It had to be that way when I bought it. I don't know how it was running. I didn't notice it be sluggish when I went on the test drive because I didn't push it very hard. I'm just going to slap my spare head on it for now. I have to beg mike's forgivness because I was suposed to sell it to him.

Replace the head gasket anyway.
Nothing that can't be cured…

I guess there was oil leaking down the stems of cil. 3 & 4… ?

Yeah gasket will be replaced. Head bolts too.

mine had missing exhaust manfiold studs and a cracked manifold flange.
