Re: 79' 931.........On the side of the engine compartment are the following numbers. Anyone know what they mean?
10R-78019
11R-0019
12R-0007
14R-0027
17R-0001
18R- numbers torn off.

Is the car imported or was it at some point in its life?
Do the stickers by chance have an E with a number circled next to it? If so those are regulation stickers by tüv showing the car has met compliance. They'll indicate what kind of car it is, what kind of options they had to review (things like a spoiler, or aftermarket wheels, exhaust) and if they met standards. Think emissions, but for europe.. Tüv is way more strict than here in the USA.
