So I have 2 non running 931's the engine is out of one and the head is off of the other one.

Im paying more for the storage then they are worth(even if they were complete and running!) one early (snail shell tranny) and one late, both 5 bolt.
I also had a 951 in that storage unit, which I just sold...(I also have a 2nd 951 which is almost running and complete and presentable!.... someone shoot me already.)
So....
I do still kind of have dreams of turning one of the 931's in to a track toy(more toy) and racing the Pikes peak hill climb with it.

But that pretty much leaves the other one out in the cold.

so whats the late 931 with out the motor worth?? ( I actually had the block cleaned and honed, and the head rebuilt, 5 angle seat grind and oringed. but if I do need a motor for the "toy" I might need those)

and would anyone be interested? Could I get more than $1000 for it?
Im sure it would be the perfect v8 canidate.

I hate to send it to the crusher.

Get a cheaper storage and sort out your projects. Dont crush cars just because you cant affort to store them.

I certainly understand how it's easy to pick up multiple "project" cars. The "potential" you can see in each one is addicting. Finally something has to give... been there. If at all possible, the crusher is to be avoided. PM sent.

We need to talk. We'll be back by April 1. Live in Salida and it looks like a trip to Denver will be necessary soon after that for some wood.
