Ok, so here is something interesting. I have been going through the wiring on the 924, time is running out and I need wipers!! So I look around and see the following unconnected wire. It is in the same area as the rest of the wiper wires, but it isnt connected to anything and I cannot find anything that it would connect to. It is the flat connector in this plastic sheeth.

Ideas???

Mike
No one can see your facebook pix unless you've already friended them...and they don't work as an image hosting service...you'll need to move the pic into something like Google's picasaweb.google.com

some models were fitted with a light on the hood and this might be the wire for it.

Your Flikr pic:

+1
White/yellow: Underhood (work) light.
It should stay outside that ‘rubber’ protection sleeve.

Good luck on the wiper wires: make sure it makes good ground.
Opening the wiper engine up and cleaning/greasing might help as well.

Regards, Harm.
