I browsed Ebay for parts and the prices are all over the lot. For instance a rear tail light lens can go for $35 to $232. Who are they kidding. I have two for sale and I could make a killing on Ebay.
Various other parts cost triple the cost you can get from Vertex, etc. The rubber gasket on the trunk lock... Vertex maybe $5 although on Ebay they are $10 to $15.
I am selling this part at a bargain.
I was looking for a hood decal instead of a badge. No luck. After 65 pages I got tired.
Had my turbo painted [Rain Forest Green met.]and I am going for the stealth look. _________________ 77 1/2 track car

It's what happens when the people parting them out don't know the car or the market. They see the porsche emblem and think OMG PORSCHE TAX TIME!! _________________ 1979 924 NA

You can *ASK* whatever you want on eBay, but that doesn't mean you're going to actually *SELL* whatever you're selling.
Problem is information is available to all, not like it used to be. So asking stupid prices for something is, well, stupid.
After all, that is why we have the "rediculously overpriced" thread, so we can laugh about pricing silliness. |
