This section is where you post your findings, once you figure it out~!
Lean over the engine and look between engine and firewall, you'll see the nasty bugger back there. First check to see if heater cable is still attached to valve. If so, work valve mechanism back and forth if it's in a stuck position. You actually might have 'heat' but don't know it! These were not designed very well from the factory. If replacing it is in your plans, just disconnect the hoses, and watch so the little clip for the cable doesn't disappear when you remove it. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

Ok, Thanks! The car blows hot air constantly...So doing the research it sounded like the HCV. Thank goodness it's not an expensive part!! LOL _________________ 82 924 N/A
