The connector cover for my DITC is missing and the wires/pins are exposed. Last night when checking the connections, two wires came loose. Upon reconnection (obviously at the wrong pin) the engine will not start. I've checked the WSM but it doesn't give the colors code of the wires nor the pin numbers. Would anyone have a diagram and color code list of the connections?

Thanks

Dennis

T12 = br & br/re
T11 = bk
T9 = br/bk
T7 = br/wt
T5 = wt/bl
T3 = gr/wt

I was confused by T13, T14 & T15, because I don't fully understand wiring diagrams.

There are two wires from the pulse generator, (bk and ye) that appear to go to T13 and T14, but they don't get all the way there. There is a fine dotted line, not labeled as a wire, that goes from a third terminal on the pulse generator to T15. the bk and ye wires terminate at this dotted line at both ends (at the DITC and at the pulse generator). Sorry, I don't know what this means.

Thanks. This should get it. IIRC the dotted line is a shielded ground line. Was this in the WSM?

I checked the supplement on the 81 turbo but didn't see it. Was it in another area?

Thanks,

Dennis

My turbo volume has additional wiring diagrams in the back. This was in Part I.

Reconnected the plugs yesterday (correctly) and it started and ran great. It also solved a high idle problem I was having.

Thanks,

Dennis

i cleaned the ditc connector before i leave to a 4000km holiday and i lost the order of the wires.
i used the info above and all is well...the car runs great.
BUT.....additional to the above mentioned wires, i do have another two wires that are bridged and connected to terminal 2..or 4...cant remember exactly..but the main question is...what are those wires for? where should they be connected? should they be connected?
