We have a set of JE pistons (the funny-lookin' ones, here) and rods (no rod bolts) that are going to the tip. Anyone want 'em for the cost of shipping?

They are definitely used and Kenodog says they're scrap. But I figured someone might want 'em. Paperweights? Ashtrays?

I do not claim they can or should be used!

I'll send pic's to anyone who wants 'em, of course.

Hi Khal. Can you give some details why these pistons were scrap? I am still toying with the idea of investing in some forged pistons so obviously any failures are of interest......

Cheers mate.
John.

John the pistons are only scrap because we have no idea what engine they were originally made for. They came in an engine we bought but the guy never finished the rebuild. The pistons however are about 1/2" too short in height. My guess is the kid was thinking of a really low c/r and using massive boost for power. So to re phrase what Khal said, they are scrap to us but they are not scrap as in damaged.

Oh, ok. Makes sense now and obviously I'm now less concerned!! Cheers for the classification. John.
