Question 1) I have been looking and looking but can't seem to find anywhere to but fibreglass front fenders for a 931. Not flared ones just basic 931 fenders. Anyone know where to source these ?
Question 2) Will an early 944 brake booster bolt onto a 931 with the M471 ?
Thanks for your replies fellas,Leigh. _________________ 1979 Euro 931, Olive

I think I remember reading around here that someone had to make their own as none of the vendors made narrow panels, just the wide or wider ones.
The boosters will physically interchange, just match the master with it and the brake line routing. _________________ Stefan

There are several configurations of brake MC's. Some have switches on the MC, some work with switches on the pedals..., some have 3 brake lines some have 4... Also, there are different bore diameters so you need to be a little bit careful to match the system with the MC.
There's a thread here somewhere where I did a comparo of all the MC's for all the toofahs, including MC config's and part numbers. If you run into trouble, see if you can find that. It has pics too... it helps with understanding what's potentially interchangabe (or not). |

You will need to toss all brake hardlines and replumb. . .944 has stepped bore in the master.
Also, I think the (dubious quality) folks at GT Racing have skinny fiberglass fenders. _________________ Toofah King Bad

I checked GT Racing and they dont list standard 924 fenders. Maybe I will call them later if I cant find them elsewhere. You guys maybe misunderstood my brake question. I wiuld like to use a 931 m/c on a 944 booster. _________________ 1979 Euro 931, Olive

Try shooting a message to these guys:

Appears they are making a ton of toofah parts inhouse. . .might be able to talk them into creating fenders. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Lol thats funny you mention them. I was looking at the rear bumper they sell and asked them if they molded the rubber bumperette onto the bumper... yup. I ask you ,who would add the ugly lumps on purpose ? _________________ 1979 Euro 931, Olive

I think I wasn't clear in my reply earlier:
The boosters will interchange just fine with the master. The mounting solutions are the same and place the master in relatively the same spot. _________________ Stefan
