Hello everybody

I saw a promotion selling bridgestones potenza GIII 195/60 r 14 héroe in my town

The tire diameter is 1" smaller compared to 185/70 r14

Would the perform well and look proportioned to the car?.

Is any one riding on these tires or using the same tire size that would like to vive me his imppression about performance and looks

Regards

Eduardo

hi, the 195 part is the tyre width (195mm) and the 60 is the aspect ratio (60%) of 195mm for the sidewall height, the tyres will be lower profile, you will have more contact area, so the car will be better round corners, the profile is lower so the ride will be a bit more harsh, the car will probably rev a little more and will accelerate a little bit quicker (you probably wont notice it, and the tyres will probably look a bit small in the arch, but if they are a good deal and your into cornering then it sounds a good deal.

personally i would look at 195 c14 van tyres. the porsche handeling is so good it doesnt need more grip and these last ages. There 80 profile so it increases the gearing slightly too, it just makes high speed crusing a bit quiter.
