I'd really like to, I'm just not sure that my toofah is ready for a trip that far just yet. I'm in Boise, and Portland is, what? 6 hours away? I think I need one more good summer of tinkering before I'm going to feel comfortable on the interstate. But damn! I'd really really like to. _________________ Fred- 1979 924 |

I can't bring a toofah but I'd be up for it.
I might be slightly biased but Vancouver can be downright stunning in Spring/Summer. I'll take any excuse I can to hang out down in The 'States but it could be worth thinking about heading up here.
There's some cool Summer stuff to do like the PCA CWR get-together (can't recall exact details and the website is useless but I'll track it down), the Celebration of Light, Crankworx, Bard on the Beach, the Richmond Summer Night Market and on and on... a myriad of little festivals like the Greek Summerfest... _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Simple solution: Bring a frosty beverage to share and some pictures of your car. Once you get home, you'll be excited to get it running again
Also, considering how tough these cars can be, I think you'd be fine as long as it runs. Mine survived the trip from Marysville, WA minus an alternator, a fully functioning exhaust manifold, one exhaust valve, a couple of lug nuts and a floor board full of water. Not that I would recommend that to anyone _________________ Stefan

'24 can't make it that far? Could do like the Sturgis Harley riders and trailer it to within ten miles of the meet, unload and drive in like you crossed the country. _________________ 1977 924na BlackSeaRD.com Torque Tube SuperBearings, Xenon air dam, 200# Weltmeister springs, Bursch header, 944 exhaust, Audi throttle body |

So everyone that is interested, post where they are and we'll see where the average PNW 924 owner is. (928's also welcome) Looks like by everyones signature, it would be Portland-ish. I'll start. Just add yourself to the list.
