Well guys it is time to sell my 931,#242 Now after 4000miles and two trips down south I must say that this car has been fun. I like it at times more than my 928s. 79k on the odo ,and every thing works. This car is as good as a 30yr old Porsche can be. In the process of the restoration I have put in to it New A/c comp, new SS brk hoses, pads, tires, head gasket, tune,Timing belt and seals, new fluids, stereo system, and more. The int. is of course like new and orig. the car has 75+% original paint . If anyone would like a very nice car for 9grand Alpine white/biege int. bilt by a factory trained tech.
Please email me at griffin911sc@yahoo.com for picts or more info
Thank you Tony Griffin
And I am restoring another 1982 Turbo #633 This one is red that may be aval. in the future |

Any tips on the dash repair?
"Turning to the interior, Griffin employed more ingenuity in returning the dashboard to reasonable shape. He used a combination of epoxy glue, plastic automotive body filler, and spray-on Rhino truck bed liner (because it’s sandable) to repair the cracked plastic. Then he hand painted and airbrushed it to give it a look of synthetic leather. Smiling, he says, “I made my best attempt, and even though it’s not perfect, from five feet away, you can hardly tell.” _________________ 1982 931- Stock with MBC at 8psi
Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it. |
