O.K. time to stop lurking and come in from the cold.
I have been reading the board and learning for the last couple of months, lots of good help here.
I was looking for another little project and found this nice 1979 924n/a 5 speed at a good price.
She`s abit rough inside and was a little reluctant to start when i first brought her home but after a bit of fiddleing around it seems to start everytime now. (don`t think I should have said that).
I`m having so much fun driving it i`ve parked my other car for now.
Sure does bring a smile to my face she`s not real quick but gives me plenty to smile about.
Jobs done ,, oil& filter changed air filter, both belts, radiator hoses ,plugs leads, injector holders and seals, rotor dist cap, muffler ,tappets, vacum leaks, new battery, played with the fuel system.
Still has a viabration at about 1900/2100 rpm in all gears i think its a mounting .righto thats it for now.
I would post a photo if I knew how, help...
