This has to be the best deal going out there on a gearshift boot for a 944 style shift boot. The price at 12.99 is so cheap I almost passed it up as junk, but curiousity called and I bought one. The ebay ad has instructions on it, but the installation is so simple that instructions are not really needed. Best of all the cut is perfect and the two examples I have bought fit easily in about 10 min or less. The material is nice looking and very flexable.

Below is a link to the ebay ad/instructions, but as ebay adds expire quickly the sellers name is aoenterpreses, and the ad title is

PORSCHE 924 944 968 NEW SHIFT BOOT FOR SHIFTER 1976-95

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130358214451&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT

This guy sells all types of shift boots so I guess he is pretty good at it.

Pictured below is the boot on the right.

At this price there is no reason to leave your knob bald....

I wish my stock knob wasn't all busted up. That looks nice when it's all done.

looks great, could you measure the diameter of the knob? Would be nice if it worked for the snail shell shifter too..

edit: MAybe you could measure the lower section of the knob where it gets smaller. That would be really nice!

Saving joecitizennn from getting his knob exposed…

Top large circumference 16,2 cm
Bottom small circumference 10,8 cm
Measered with use of a tyrip and ruler on the rubber
part of the standard 924 knob that needs a boot.
