anyone changed the sunroof to a solid fixed polycarbonate, I can't see myself ever having this open and apparently need a new seal at any rate.
Are there any universal window seals that could be used ?

looks very nice, then welding? or having it removable?
do you think you might please be able to take a close up with the sheet metal out,

I am not cutting anything on the roof section. Made the panel by hammer forming it using the old sunroof as a pattern. I am planning on using 3M 08115 Panel Bonding Adhesive to attach it. Then a little polyester filler (Bondo) to smooth the seams. This will make it permanent.
This adhesive is really strong stuff. I used it to bond my rear flares and my hood scoop.

Nice. I actually grabbed a delete roof skin and will have it welded in and filled. I'll let you know how it turns out.
