So here's the question : which is better oil to run in a turbo-charged engine, full synthetic or dino ?

Post your answers and the reason for the answers please. Thanks guys.

Brad Penn synth. Better heat resistance, and maintains slipperyness even when it thins out. . .resists coking better than dino as well.

(puts flame suit on)

I used to prefer Mobil1, but they've since gone hydro-cracked dino oil, which is like the Diet Coke of synthetics

Ya I used to use Mobil 1 also, never had any problems with coking. I just don't understand why you would use cheap oil, that's just silly.

You can use either, but I prefer a quality synthetic on a turbocharged engine. A turbo is a lot harder on oil than a NA. Pull data sheets from as many oil manufacturers as you can and compare numbers. It will tell you loads. I picked Amsoil as my favorite, but that could change in time, who knows what I may run across.
