Hi all Ive got my beast on the road but I am having trouble under boost /load with pedal depressed. The car is staggering and backfiring I havent caheck the timing correctly so I bought myself a timing light , now my problem is , the two vac lines to the distributor one pushes and one pulls ? do they both connect to manifold vacuum? and where? Haynes is a bit vague.....help

Thanks Bockscar picks up very well ! Lots of PINKING , best put a boost gauge on so I can see whats happening.

Vac advance hooks uo upstream of the throttle, while retard hooks up downstream -
