What would be really neat is if I fiberglassed up
some look alike bumperettes to look like the rubber ones
only in silver & mount them inbetween the added lights &
cut out center section. Right on top of those 2 dimples in the pic.
Now there a thought.. Ill do that when I glass up
my side skirts.

Hey Joe, I'm planning on this for my bumper, as well. I have been mulling over what to do with mine for the bumper all winter and came up with exactly the same thing.

You dont say. Um yea with the cut out Im doing
the shiny FMIC to the turbo should be clearly visable.
Of courde along the lines if fab work ! I plan a small front
thin fiberglass splitter as well as glassed up bumperettes &
thats besides the stock GT side skirts I have to glass up.
I was given an idea for lights in the bumper now I just have
to find a used set.

Kudos to your bumper fab.

Rough cut.. Round the corners and most likely take out
a strip along the top. Id like to get the corners the same
contour as the others. You will really be able to see the
fmic.

Not happy with what I had I made a pettern of the valance contour and traced it onto the bumper. Its alright now.

If you are going to imitate my bumper at least get the corners of the upper opening to match the lower valance in curvature so it will look balanced.
