I just started the new engine for the first time.....purred like a kitten Then I decided to turn it off before it got any temp up. Didnt stop dont panic wiggle ingition key and pull it out.............. ok disconnect battery .......dont panic....... still going.........ah disconnect alternator ignition feed .....still running......start to panic disconnect feul pump leads at rear......still running, wait ! its a turbo......find turbo timer (aftermarket ) that I should have thought about first.........engine stops.....
Ok all good.......hey whats that oil under there? Take front pulley off, using 23mm socket and car jack as torque.........forgot front oil seal......... Moron! ........Get detergent and rags clean driveway.
Dickhead!
Install front seal.........dont panic.........think first..........check oil leaks after warm run. retighten as many bolts as possible after initial run.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
Today's weirdness is tomorrow's reason why. |
