I got my bilstein hds and am wondering which springs to match them with? Once again it is for spirited street driving not track racing. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks _________________ Porsche 924 1977 N/A

I just added Welt 200s on the front of my car and I'm quite pleased. Stiffer than stock but still comfortable. Also from info gleaned from the fine folks here, if you don't want to also change out your rear T-bar the softest lowering springs will be best. I'll be adding a 19mm rear sway bar to balance out the increase in front spring rate but aside from that I should be good. _________________ 1981 931 CGT replica, OEM CGT intercooler, .8 BAR WG spring, GTS Headlights, Innovative Wide band A/F, A/C delete, 16" Fuchs, Weltmeister 200lb lowering springs, Bilstein HDs front, Koni Sport rears. |

Watch the height too - I believe the 250#-ers are lowering springs. The 200s and possibly 220s may be too..
I put 220# on mine quite some time ago, but are brand name Eibach (I think) (and I don't recall if they were listed as Eibach or Weltmeister in the catalog I bought from). They were sold as standard height (which is what I wanted). Long story short, make sure you're getting the height you want.. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. My answer is the same as last time you asked. Start with the billies and the stiffest sway bars you can find, and see how you like it before changing anything else. _________________ Toofah King Bad

I just want to do it one time I dont want to use the old ones, get an alignment and then do it all over again. The 200 lbs says it lowers about 1.25 the 220 lbs is stock and the 250 lbs lower about 1.5. _________________ Porsche 924 1977 N/A

What is your goal in changing the stock springs? If the answer is, "make the car handle better," you should ask Grenadiers how his car handles after putting the 250s on. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Yeah Im pretty sure the 250's are out so its down to stock height or lowered also I should note that I have a 23mm sway bar from the 924S in the front and a rear sway bar not sure of the size but it came on the car. _________________ Porsche 924 1977 N/A
