Hard to find really any 1980 931 snailshell transaxles for sale other than a taken apart expensive one on e-bay?

So what is a known good '80 931 snailshell transaxle worth?

What about the turbocharger and headers without cracks?

I pretty much know the rest of the '80 stuff is worthless as everyone wants the '81 - '82 931 engine parts as they are better.
Thanks and Happy New Year

Open diff G31s are not that hard to find if you know where to look. I have four of them myself. They may not pop up that often as individual units, but are easily gotten from parts donors. Dime a dozen, and not worth more than $200 in my opinion.

Uncracked S1 manifolds = unobtanium. I won't believe it unless I hold it my hands and inspect it myself. Even S2 manifolds have been turning up cracked with alarming frequency lately. Even if you have an uncracked S1 exhaust manifold, it would be foolish to install it because it will doubtless crack since it's lacking the necessary reinforcements.

Uncracked K26 turbine housing = unobtanium. I've only had one ever, and I traded it for some other parts I needed more at the time (sort of regretting it now). So again, I doubt that it's uncracked...would have to see it myself to believe.

As for pricing, well, that's a supply and demand question...the supply might be thin, but I suspect the demand is even thinner.

1980 series 1 all the way, '81 series 2 cars are slower, everyone knows that! US cars are even slower again!!
