I just got an email ad from Harbor Freight good for 25% Off Any Single Item on Thanksgiving Day.

If you want to do some shopping for Gifts, or for yourself, if you can get to a Harbor Freight Store on Thursday and you aren't on Harbor Freight's email list. Send me a PM with your email address (make sure tell me why you PMd me), and I'll forward the email coupon to you. It's only good on one item, but in the past (like everytime I ask) the Cashier in the store has let me make multiple purchases, so I can use more than one coupon. So if you ask me to forward the email to you, make multiple copies to take with you when you go on Thanksgiving Day.

That makes for some incredible deals since you can get another 25% Off of things that are already on sale. An example would be Harbor Freight's best 2T full size aluminum floorjack. Regular price is $170, on sale right now for $120, on Thanksgiving Day, it would be $90. If you're into FWD cars, this would be an excellent time to get one of HF's "engine support beams". With the coupon, the price will be $43 or less, depending on what the current sale price (the price on these units has bobbed between $90 and $50 this year) is on Thanksgiving. I bought one these beams, and for any task that requires the removal of the engine or transmission mounts, the starter, or the transmission, the job is much easier using a beam instead of balancing the engine on a floorjack under the oil pan.
