Does anyone have a reference for which year steering wheels (911, 928, 928s, 924, 944, 944 Turbo) are swappable between one another? I have a 1986 VW Vanagon, and I heard the 928s and 944 Steering wheel can be swapped in without modifications. Wondering if that is the same for a 911 (1984 for instance) or other. Searched hard on this with no good answers. Thanks. _________________ Peace, Johnny

924, 944 (early and late), and 944 turbo are all the same except for the turn signal cancelling ring, which can be swapped easily.
911 is different from 924, etc. The splines are different.
928, I haven't a clue. _________________ Dan.

Is there a slick way to get a 911 steering wheel to fit the 924? I found a steering wheel I like a lot, but it is for a 911...but the price is RIGHT! Thanks, Johnny _________________ Peace, Johnny
