Has anyone ever used those "JDM-style" bolt on black fender flares?
Something in tradition of those 6-bolt 993 GT(2) wheelarches.
Do they come in rubber? I would think rubber would fit better?
I'm very curious about how it would look on a 924 , especially on the front narrow fenders.
I would like to see some pics if possible. Any comment is appreciated. |

I seem to remember a yellow 924 that had VW style fender flares adapted. Can't find it at the moment, but it's the closest thing I can recall. Don't remember if it was fronts and rears or just fronts... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Found it. It's Mr. Mad's ProCharger 924:
There's a big thread on it somewhere here. Fronts only, as you can see. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

but thats molded on.
would like to see a link or more info on these bolt on ones. i know they kind-of have that 4x4 look but would like to see how much $ anyway. might be good for my brothers spitfire, he really needs some flares to cover the tires. _________________ "Government exists to protect us from each other. Understood, but those flares started life as VW cheapies. Just thought it might be an option. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Something to compare with: the RX-7 (SA22 & FB3-S).
A perfect example of the use of fender flares imho

I like the look alot. Anyone good at photoshop? I think if they were the body color of a 924, they might look good.

Yeah, I'm been thinking about those for a while, but I thought I would mold them in once mounted. Isn't the D-product kit have fenders like Mr. Mad's? I think someone should try it and take some pictures _________________ White 1987 Porsche 924S manual
