I was just wondering if it's possible to put a 944 or 968 engine in a 924 without changing the gearbox or diff?? [/quote]

If you buy a 968, you've got everything you need

I talked with the woman who owned it, and it's been really abused. The thing that really deterred me from it was that it has humongous rust holes all over the lower part of the body. Oh, and she wanted too much.

A driveshaft insinuates simplicity without the headache of having to rebuild something and put new bearings in it. Torque tube is more sinister, evil, and frustrating.

Ye I'd love to get a 968 but in Australia they go for $30,000 AU I havn't got that much.
So pretty much was of time and money to put a 944/968 engine in?
