Ever see this: You turn it off and remove the key. But, the turn signal indicator is lit dim on the dash while the warning buzzer is also on. And the turn signals also work if you turn them on, again the key is off and out. I'm suspecting a switch, once last year I removed the key and the fuel pump was priming like the key was on I put the key back in and the pump turned off. and sometimes I need to to turn the key a little hard sometimes to crank. I know the switch is on its way out, I just hope this new problem is also tied to it.

Sounds reasonable, and it's a pretty cheap experiment to find out.

+1^
-But the turn signals will stay on (though non-blinking) even with a new switch, and everything "working as it should". So don't be disappointed if that problem doesn't go away. -And of course continue to remember to return the signal stalk to center to avoid killing the battery.

UPDATE: NOT A FAULTY SWITCH

I ordered one yesterday, so I removed everything so I can pop it in once it arrives. With everything removed it still does that dim lit turn signal indicator and low warning buzz. Any ideas on wiring diagrams? My haynes really doesn't say much and I'm going to a shop in my area to see if they got anything.

I had this happen to me once when I replaced the headlight switch with another that was from either a 944 or a 924S, don't recall which. The headlights worked fine but when I'd turn off the ignition, the turn signal green indicator light on the dash would glow dimly. Once I put in a switch from another 924, it stopped doing that. I don't recall if the key was in or not. I still have the switch and could install it and see what happens, if you need.

Have you changed any other switches recently?

Not sure if that's related to what you're experiencing or not.

That will give me some insight or direction on where to begin.

O, man, if you could do that, that would be great! That will give me some insight or direction on where to begin. It makes no sense why this happened. Its been in a heated garage for the last year and its totally unmolested. I'd hate to start ripping open factory wire looms only to find out its a switch.

I'll try to get to it tomorrow.

Just to make clear, I'm talking about replacing the headlight switch, not the ignition switch. The headlight switch is what was causing the problem I had.
