Fair season is closing and we were very busy with carnage. My brother-in-law, Sam and I always do our county but this year we did 3 and counting. First car was a late 80's Crown vic. with the interceptor It had a blown head gasket when we got the car but we placed in the heat and fifth overall before ending up on top of another car and getting timed out, altough we didn't know it and none of the idiot officials flagged him to let him know. He ran the piss out of it after somebody knocked him loose and the head gasket let the cyls. fill up. Then we took a 78 thunderbird to 2 other counties did well even got paid for the second. Then tonight the thunderbird stopped when the weld on the spyder gear broke in the ford 9" rear.
Anyway its a lot of fun to hear the engines roaring and the cars crunching. The constant plums of smoke and steam from the burning oil and blown hoses.
* we were the #19 on top it was a hard hit that put us there.
