If you have Webers you already know the stock accelerator cable will not work -- too short. So I was hoping someone could give me a source, manufacturer and most importantly a part number for the cable they're using.

I've heard Lokar but don't know what part # to order...

TIA

I've been looking into this for throttle and shifter cables for my DSR... here's some resources:
http://www.flanderscables.com/FlanCableSearch.html

They sell DIY parts you can assemble your own.

These guys don't have much on their website, but I just got their catalog yesterday, and I'm sure they can make anything you need!

Thanks guys. I appreciate the suggestions. Keep em coming.

I wish I knew what I was looking for. Then I could probably spec what I need at one of those build-your-own sites. But I was hoping someone could give me a lokar part # or something and I could just order it. I'd have to pay my guy $85/hour to spec $10 worth of cable and fittings, and that's not good economic sense at this point if you know what I mean...

I'll look at the Lokar cable I have and see if I can remember the part number. I've not gotten it completely installed yet, but it looks to be more than long enough to work with the linkage on my throttle bodies.

Yeah, if you could get a part # and post it, that would be SUPER!

hey emoore does your throtle lever pull straight down.im going to be useing a fulcrum to make mine work just making it now.pretty simple outfit.kinda of a bellcrank.it has 2 arms in the shape of a v,well a little wider than a v .the lower arm is longer than the upper arm.it will mont on the intake that bolts to the head.then i will be able to use the stock cable,it will pull the upper arm ,inturn the lower arm mounted in the pivot will pull straight down and full open my carbs.been messing with this all summer.makeing and remaking.im dam close now.still some adjustments.then it will go to be made of billet aluminum.that will cost!!!

Take a look over at the "before and after" thread. I have a solution but I'm not sure if its what I'll be using over the long term.

Still hoping for pics and part #s if anyone has them...
