Just waiting for a motorcycle to come around the corner and clip it. People that take up the road like that on corners you can't see through make me fume. _________________ - 1977 Porsche 924 2.0 N/A (Trackday Project)

What I wouldn't give to be driving a huge truck the other direction. Dumbasses. _________________ '80 924 Turbo - SOLD!

I see guys do that on our driving tour all the time and think to myself, if I can stay in my lane doing the same speed why can't you.
I think it make them feel a little more race-ee. _________________ Rick

To me, the porsche looks to be being driven fairly sensibly based on the view from the camera. Using the road only on corners that look to open up enough to be able to see through, sticking to lanes on the truely blind corners. Sensible approach to slower traffic.
The only bad choices I can see are the overtake by the porsche where I would have prefered to leave more room, and the suicidal looking overtake by the scooby(?) |

You got it right, that's a WRX in some form as the camera car, and he definitely made the the worst of the moves, but I agree, you can have plenty of fun staying on your own side of the road. |

Yes, they do! ... It's not just the machine, but the operator as well.
I think the Scooby would take 'em, I'd be more afraid of smashing up a 911 versus a Scoob. _________________ I got nothin'

It's the only way they can keep 931s behind them.
I found that out through experience. _________________ 1982 Porsche 931 (Sold)

If that wide ass 911 wasn't pig-ing up the road, the WRX would be two states over by now. As a biker too, I fume at racer wanna bees that think dipping below the line is cool. A real driver can go fast and keep it in his own lane without endangering others. _________________ 1977 924na BlackSeaRD.com Torque Tube SuperBearings, Xenon air dam, 200# Weltmeister springs, Bursch header, 944 exhaust, Audi throttle body |

I agree with staying in your lane, I always do even on the tail of the dragon.
However: could Steve McQueen be wrong? Check out this classic footage:

i don't cut corners like that am i am uncomfortable riding with drivers who do. too many what if's.

If you drove on the dragon like that you would have killed about 15 people! Good thing for him the curviest road in Georgia is much less popular to motorcyclist. _________________ 81 924 N/A
