I just watched Cedric's trackday videos, and they were great. It got me thinking, there are a few folks who have posted some nice video, but it would take some real digging to sit and watch a bunch in a row, or to browse through the whole collection.

So, would you be interested in a new subforum just for posting and discussing trackday, touring, and race videos? As videos become more and more common, it might be fun to centralize them!

They aren't all posted on Youtube. Many are though.

There's Streetfire, Photobucket, Vimeo, Facebook, etc.

But I reckon it might be handled just as well with a permanent thread in the General forum. Does it a need a forum of its own?

The thing about permanent threads in this place is that they quickly balloon into long, and often OT discussions. You would still have a mess to sift through. I would rather glance through a forum Table of Contents, and go straight to "Morghen at Nurburg" or "Khal at PIR."

If the mods decide they don't feel like dealing with another section - i'm very familiar with this version of phpbb forum and used to run a forum with it and would be happy to volunteer to moderate the section if so.

I was going to post a long-winded rambling post, just to mess with you. but then I wouldn't want to get your "Official, Ultimate 924 Trackday Thong" in a twist

If we do end up with a video section (under 924 Racing? What about How-To videos, etc?) I would say that it could use a little more moderation just to keep it a little cleaner.
