Judging by the red carpet on the torque tube tunnel and in the hatch and the model year, I'd say that used to be a Martini & Rossi. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

| I was wondering if it was a martini, but I thought they had bright orange carpet. |

Nope, no orange carpet, unless the sun has had something to do with it! I have a Martini car, rest in pieces, and the carpet is in decent shape. Some orangy carpet in the rear cargo area, but the rest is pretty good. The seats are the best I've seen in the time I've been on the board. A bit of mold from our incessantly wet and hot summer, but not too bad. Plan on using the bits in my Euro car....soon. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

The grey dash and the duo-tone door cards give it somehow away… Martini.
On the carpet;
Looks like someone spilled some phine Bordeaux…
either from the bottle or the stomach?
Regards, Harm.

It is a Martini. The carpets start red but the sun turns them a little orangish. _________________ 1977 924 N/A Martini Edition |

| Those badges were only used on the 77 Martini. That's not to say that's what this car is. That's just where the badge comes from... |

Look, the Martini Edition was a cosmetic marketing job. The car in question has non of the Martini components in original condition, except for maybe the plague on the center console.
It's been repainted in a non-Martini color scheme, no Martini sticker set, and has late model (wrong) seats. It may have been a Martini when it was built, but it isn't any more. |
