I bought this on eBay for pretty cheap a few months ago and for the first time temperately putting it in place. It replaces the original valance. I'm not sure if I like it or not. It suppose to sit a little lower, the bungee cords are holding it higher. It's fiber glass and it need a little repairing, so I'm thinking about adding on a inch or two or three lower and maybe put some driving lights in it. What do you guys think about it?

The right side doesn't line up as well because it's bent up, I'm replacing it and also thinking about deleting the side reflectors.

That looks quite good but take the rubbers from the bumpers and definitly get rid of the reflectors. Best of luck with the work will look great when you have it sorted. I think to if you get some of the garage door sealing strip as mentioned elsewhere on the forum it might look good.

Sure it looks good, it should too it was made for the 924 model.
Getting rid of the side markers would make it look on the fly.

Do the bungie cords help direct the air flow?

Ok, i agree, get sot of the reflectors. But the 924 front spoiler is a classic work of art in my eyes, why change it?
check this cool example
.

Totally!! See how one side is different from the other? it's to compensate for the bent fender bowing out.....

Mmmmmmmm...... Yeah........ not working for me...

Now if it had 931 vents then YEs, but it's a little too plane IMO

I didn't realise that the reflectors are actually side indicators/flashers. They are ugly, what if they were blackend out?

I agree with 9XXGirl! the spoilers is kinda cool I do think all it needs is a splitter at the bottom somehow, (not made of wood like on the BMW diesel challenge on 'Top Gear' a few years back)!
Also remember the 924 has one of the lowest drag co-efficients ever... even better than the 944.

Go with a vented 931 valance and call it good. That after market piece doesn't look so good.

Id have to agree with paula here. . . . I like the straight off the showroom floor look. however. if you do use that aftermarket valance you could always sell me yours!

I have seen splitters for 951 but not 931 or 924 (not cheap). It would make perfect sense though, (not just to the looks)

Harm, you have too much time on your hands

hahaha NIce.... So that's what it looks like in white..... Looks like it could be a Chinese food delivering car...

I have one side with the side marker removed, just need to do the other. I also have a euro bumper to put on.
