Thanks to everyone who replied to my last question It did help but didnt seem to be the problem.
The car (81 924 NA) is at the mechanics he has told me its the fuel distributer does he mean the CIS unit? He also told me thats it a problem that cant be repaired and I need a replacement part, he also said that the whole unit needs replacing. from air intake included as Its one huge piece. As I cant see the car Im not sure what he is talking about. If anyone can help me with what parts he is referring to an if anyone has those part and want to sell, please contact me.
Murray

See if he can get you the Bosch number off the side of the fuel distributor. Post it up. Someone probably has one.

He's correct in that repairing them is sometimes not too successful, though some on the board have had luck doing it. Getting the fuel distributor to seal after disassembly is usually the problem, from what others have posted.

I have one here that might work, if the numbers match.

Heres some fuel dizzys... your fuel dist is the big thing with the hoses to your fuel injectors, it would be close to your right hand if you faced your car and placed both hands on the head lights.
Yes they can be rebuilt... but just like some carbs(holley), they are tricky and often leak.
