LOOKING FOR SUGGESTIONS AND GUIDANCE

WHAT SHOULD I BE AWARE OF SINCE THE CAR IS UP AND STRIPPED?

i got the car back from the mechanic on monday (6-14-2010). we did an extensive tune-up. i'm relieved to say that it runs and drives.

i'll restore/replace the interior and clean up the engine compartment and under carriage.

i'm going to need some parts and advise.

I NEED THE FOLLOWING PARTS

DOOR HINGE BRACKET

SUNROOF WIND SCREEN HINGES AND CENTER GUIDE. MALE AND FEMALE

RIGHT FRONT FENDER

Nice one you have there.. lo nice nice tennis shoes too look a pair if mine.. Welcome to the board from St. Cloud. What just clean it up replace any hoses that are bad .. It runs though does it run good..
Its pretty clean maybe paint the big hub behingd the brake master..
and the coolant pipe in the front of the engine.. and any other rusted parts. Like front struts. You could use a good rust proofing paint such as por 15 it comes in a few colors, I have a 1980 931 with a interior like yours.

Id find another interior 2 put in 4 starters. You should be on the road soon looks like.

Looking good. FWIW, I have a conversion kit for four wheel dsic brakes, as well as a set of lightly used Bilsteins for sale that would liven up your car quite a bit. . .let me know if you are interested.
