hey everyone
As noted on another post, I am doing some body repairs - front fender and inside. I wanted to pass along to 924 and 944 people that I found some new reproduction steel fenders for both cars at Parts Heaven - (Jeff was very helpful)
I am sure some of you may already know about this - but just in case I thought it sounded good
Hope this helps anyone in need
Thanks

Thanks for passing that on Sean.
I took a look at the site, lots of parts.
How much do they want for the fenders? I may need some soon. _________________ 1982 Porsche 931 (Sold)

$175 plus shipping -
I'm not sure how that ranks for everyone - but I thought that was pretty good for a basically brand new fender _________________ 1979 924 n/a

Presume that's for one fender? US Spec only, or do they have Euro spec (wouldn't that be nice?!)...?
I wonder if they have 931 fenders with the special clips for the rocker cover... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

yes - 1 front fender - passenger in my case - not sure about the other -
they said there was a company that made a bunch and they bought up all of them for the 924 and 944 - they said these were the only parts that they had like that _________________ 1979 924 n/a

Ok, if these fenders are good quality, galvanised even, this is a great find. Pelican parts has 924s front fenders listed for $1200.
Even if they're not galvanised, it's good to have a more affordable option.
Please say this is the Parts Heaven in Hayward CA. If so, i may take a drive over there. I need some spare fenders i can cut around for my new nose project. So the cheaper the better. _________________ 1982 Porsche 931 (Sold)

Sean, did the fender have the hole for the US side marker? Would be nice if it didn't have the hole so you could make a Euro look. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

sorry - it was set up for the U.S. side marker
I have to admit I was glad because I only have to replace one fender (so far) if it was Euro - style I would have to go a different route or buy 2 _________________ 1979 924 n/a
