I'm going to be shopping for a pair of good quality, proper fitting front floor mats to protect the carpet in our '87 924S...any suggestions of what works good for you that are using some currently?

Thanks!

Just an update.
I was shopping Big Lots yesterday and came across some Kraco premium mats, front and rear, for 10 bucks! Needless to say I couldn't pass them up. The color is very, very close to my carpet color, they are about 3/8" thick with thick binding all around and have a rubber bottom with little nibs on it to keep the mat from sliding around.

Granted they don't have 924 or Porsche embroidered on them but for 10 bucks, what can I say?

How is fitment on the driver side relative to the pedals, the foot rest, and seat slider movement? Those have been the biggest problem areas I've encountered with generic mats...

The mats lay flat and do not go up behind the pedals, so there isn't a problem there.
They are narrow enough that the seat slider issue isn't...I'm 6' and my wife is a tad over 5' so this was a concern, but the mat doesn't bunch up at all when moving the seat.

I'll be taking some pictures and will post them in the near future when we figure out the picture posting system! It'll be posted in the general discussions.
