got the MOT today, thank god it passed but on the way back the car wouldnt stop, i had removed the keys but it kept going! the fuel pump relay was clicking like mad and the voltmeter was waving around frantically
upshot was that by the time i had stalled the car int stopping the fuel pump relay had burnt out. i have a spare so im ok there.
what would cause this? (it not stopping)
al the earths i have found in the resto so far have all been cleaned and ground back to bare metal then covered in copper grease to protect.
it had never done this before today. and it keeps doing it now, 2 times out of every 3 starts it wont stop. |
