| I just replaced the o2 sensor on my '82na with a new Bosch sensor which was supposed to work on my '82 924 as well as 911,928,944 and found after I installed it that it was too big for my old o2 sensor heat shield to fit over. Is this a problem if I eliminate it? (The sensor heat shield) I don't want the new sensor to fail early because of this. Thanks for any advice. |

I'm not familiar with the 924 heat shield itself, but you can make a heat shield yourself from aluminium.
I believe I found a pic on the megasquirt site, but I can't find it _________________ "Rule: Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun." (C. Bell)
