Decided to do several things at once.
I wanted two turn signals on the dash and not one so I removed the cluster.
While I was at it I had a go at fixing the odometer.
FWIW - it is not as daunting a task as one imagines.
With the cluster out it was a breeze to remove the speedo and then I followed the instructions in the FAQ.
I noticed the shaft the wheel is on, had a lot of play so I put some small spacers on it and behind the wheel to prevent this movement.
put it back together, tested it with a drill and one problem solved.

The other mod? I had 2 high beam dash lights. I removed the one above the speedo RH and installed the RH green light here. I installed the LH opposite side of the speedo and rewired back to the turn switch.
The other green light on the dash only works with the hazards.

I had a look at your other pics. Car looks good

Them's some seriously black tinted windows you've got!

And it's an auto How do you find that? I've had my eye on an old '77 924 NA auto for a while now.

It's still sitting there at the shop, saw it last weekend on the way out to my parents place. When I get some spare cash I'll go bug the owner again

Cool idea. I've always wondered why there were 2 main beam ind. lights..

Bring up the picture on Webshots or wherever you have it uploaded, do a right-click, select "properties" (if using IE), then select and copy the url address. That's -
http://image48.webshots.com/49/3/2/91/317630291pYZFlc_ph.jpg
(Many webspace sites change the filenames regularly, so we'll find out soon enough if Webshots does this. Others, like Yahoo don't allow direct linking to .jpg files)
Then to post the pic so it appears in the post, put (img) before and (/img) after the url (but replace those parens with brackets).

That's weird. They're not changing the filenames...
I'll remove the pic from my previous post and see if yours shows - maybe they somehow limit the number of pics that can be linked to.

Well now yours is there and mine's gone and I didn't do anything yet. Very strange. Still maybe a limit on the amount of data they'll send at once. Try changing from full size to thumbnails.
