It's pretty, no doubt.

But, "designed by Zagato" doesn't necessarily mean it was designed by an Italian bloke, just that Zagato attracts really good talent...

Looks like the offspring of a Ferrari Enzo and an Austin Martin.

I think you mean Aston. Or maybe Healey?

Looks more like a modern rendition of the Ferrari Daytona

Austin Healeys are so cool I had the pleasure to see a rare model which had a 4 litre Rolls Royce engine fitted in it (from the factory).

I think this site has some info on that model. Only four were built iirc.

They definitely have a certain flair for car design...

The Italians ARE design savants! Be it paintings, sculptures, or cars. My wife teaches art history, but her expertise is italian art history, so i get enough of it from her.

Given the opportunity, it would be hard for me to turn down say a 1st generation Lamborghini miura (yes i`m dreaming) over a brand new high powered Porsche 911.

I`m lucky to have ridden (as a passenger only) a miura on numerous occasions. I finally got a chance to ride as my dad`s co passenger on a 2002 porsche 911 (bout 300hp) that someone lent him for the day (my 3rd time only on a 911 since the first time i got a ride in the 80`s on our base dental surgeon`s early 70`s 911), and being used to old cars i marveled at virtually everything.

When i got a ride once again in the old miura, i remembered why i liked the old italian car, inspite of the miura`s flaws, just looking at it is like...

Now you guys might think i`m nuts, but when i started driving my humble 924 again, i realize how much i really appreciate all its quirks and sounds and everything about it, including its non-italian looks!
