Just curious but even after going through the posts and sticky on wheels I have questions. It seems the bulk of people are using Porsche rims or flared fenders. What can you get by with keeping the body standard and still have clearance. There's a lot of aftermarket choices in the 15 X 6.5 - 7 range.

The most difficult part is going to be finding aftermarket rims in 5x130. Next would be finding aftermarket rims that are not marked with a high price tag. Then you'd also have to find a set that is 15" when most are going to be bigger than that.

Well I have an Older 4 lug and the bolt pattern is the easy part. It's the offset and backspacing thats hard you can get close but not exact. There is alot of reasonably priced aftermarket wheels out there in the 15 X 6.5-7. I dont know if that will work with out rubbing.

4 x 108mm bolt pattern is the easy part? I don't see a whole lot of them, but I haven't really been looking.

Try looking at 4x4.25"

Still finding the proper offset is the tricky part.

Most Honda's, Toyota's, and even 5.0 Mustangs used the 4 x 4.25 bolt pattern all the way thru the 70's and 80's. Lots 0f 15 x 7 wheels with that pattern to be had out there just don't know how far I can go. I guess I could measure clearances and find a happy medium for wheel width and a offset that will clear the body and brakes. Errghh!!

Here's this link http://www.roadkillcustoms.com/hot-rods-rat-rods/Wheel-Bolt-Pattern-Cross-Reference-Database.asp?LugCount=4&StudSpreadInch=&StudSpreadMM=108
It's got all the cars having 4x108, I kept looking for AM wheels that fit these cars.

I picked up a set of 4x4.25s aftermarket rims from a guy who had them on a Mustang. They are aluminum and not too much
heavier than the stock 14s. I believe they are 7s,the tires(in good shape) are 205 60 15. Took a little modification to fit, spacers would have worked, I guess.
I like the way they look, and for $160, couldn't beat it, I like to keep it cheap I'll try to get around to posting pics soon.
Oh yeah, I went to look at the rims (in my truck) with measurements in hand, to see if they would work, and set a price.
Then I drove the '24 over there and tried them on seller was cool with it,maybe a little surprised too

Thanks and the rims look good a lot of the Mustangs rims fit but I notice a lot of places only list 17" and up I guess thats the trend big wheels and skinny tires. I'm like you and I like to keep it cheap, because I have to.
