Im waiting on my lowered 250lb springs. This last friday im on the freeway
thinking its time to redo my valance though Id like to have the front lower too. I know Ill try and do both lower the car and rebuild the valance though that would be pretty tough got to be done by sunday early as I get up early monday. Plus I left the steel Im gonna use ar work I didnt even measure the lengths Ill need. Yesterday I go by autozone and rent there spring compressors and go home to give the stock springs a cut. I stopped at Knects autoparts and get a couple 3"cut-off wheels the ones from harbor freight are shit they dont last... This is the stock height its to high.

After I it was lowered.

To be safe I should have a 1" length if pipe the same dia as the upper sring perch welded to it to house the spring better its in there solid and all.
Handles just about the same though a little different as its lower seems stiffer too as spring rate has shall I say changed. These are the 944 springs I cut up.

It still handles like a porsche.

See how lower it is its great ..anyway I drove home from work
in the dark (an hour long freeway ride... And its alright its time to
put the the front belly pan back on does that thing help with the
airodynamics and the air flow...Im thinken the air gets wipped up under the fenders and other parts and acts as wind shear.

The belly pan should prevent lift.

So its time to tell and heres gos you know the freeway system in portland oregon isnt the greatest and theres a few spots where if Im haulen ass
say like 75mph in this one curve or down a hillside doin the same well the tires and fender lip make contact a little ..this is a bad thing. So it makes for a drive planned to go slow in the bad spots such as bridges. I drive pretty fast sometimes Ill be damned if I can explain. Only when the time is right do I go fast though..

Whats the deal Joe??? I have read these digs from time to time that the car is your girlfriends car?? Is this an inside joke I am missing? or is that really your girlfriends car? And if it is..why do you always drive it and build it as you want??

Hang out at golf courses. Check out the owners of the golf course
and see if you can find out if they got any cute chicks for as in there offspring ..take it from there a porsche will find its way into the picture
for you too soon enough maybe. Its a mind set thing and you cant have any other thoughts it demands complete concentration and takes up all of your time.
