get hold of the horn pad and yank it off. It clips on in 3 places.
There is a 22mm nut in the centre then. But mark the wheel and shaft for re-alignment it's tricky toi get right!! _________________ 1994 Lotus Esprit S4 - Work in progress...

yes, welcome to 30 year old cars
It's the only way and they are sometimes very hard to remove. They are normally fine though and can take the rough handling. Mine has been apart loads of times withotu incident. You can normally pop off one at a time, just pull the end of each spoke by hand. I wouldn't try and lever it off.
If you break something the clips on the steering wheel side can be replaced. _________________ 1994 Lotus Esprit S4 - Work in progress...

Yes, your nose!
Seriously, it requires some force to remove, and you could easily bash your nose in if you're not prepared for the release when it finally lets go... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
