o.k i tried my talents are not as good as they used to be. new battery, new starter, wires, fuses,plugs,cap and rotor, cranks but won't start ... now i just need some suggestion on mechanic in my area of westchester county i know of rennwerks this guy cheech but he is very $$$$ any body know anyone else... thanks i'm too old to do this it looks like it's gonna cost me way too much to get her running already between buying towing and parts over 2500 my mistake for buying a non running car ... but i'm sick it's an illness i can't describe PLEASE HELP....thanks

I think in Westchester is a guy/racer named Rick Deman. Look in the phone book and mention my name. As a matter of fact he owned Mr Celentas car the 924 tube frame race car. So he knows 931s.

yea deman motorsports i think he's across the river in rockland he's more $$$$ than cheech... boy i can't believe it's so hard to find a guy that knows these car locally there is a guy down the way from me i've seen some MB's out in the lot i think i will ask him if he is familiar with my kind of car.. thanks

Well you've come to right place then. There's pretty much nothing beside out and out machine work that the guys here can't walk you through. If you have the time and a decent pair of ears and eyes then skip the expensive mechanic? Theres no specialised tools required other then metric stuff.

Model and year is the first step. Then a description of the problem obviously.
