Been a long time since I been here. Anyways, I have been gone for a long time, and taught myself much and done much more. I remember a few years ago some guys were messing with making a fuel injection kit (EFI) kit for 924's. Well I have redone Honda's from TBI to full fuel injection. So the concept is nothing new to me. But I wanted to know if anyone has got it all figured out with a parts list to go with, cause I would love to get the crappy old CIS out of there and be a little modern. Take care guys.

OOOOHHHH!!!! Goody, goody, haven't had a chance to do this in a LONNGGG while...

Here's yer READING ASSIGNMENT
From our very own Performance Upgrade thread: Fuel, Ignition & Engine Management
Also: 931 & Boosted 924 EFI List and Discussion Thread

So, with that formality outta the way, Welcome Aboard

I'm presently (slowly) working on a kit that would include the primary components required for the conversion: fuel rail, trigger wheel, pickup sensor bracket (and other miscellaneous brackets & spacers), injector inserts, and distributor block-off. My current approach is to come up with the bolt-on components that would be common across all EFI conversions regardless of platform or aspiration, which would then allow anyone to select the variable components (i.e. the injectors, DIS system, and ECU system). I have the fuel rail figured out, and most of the brackets & spacers, so getting close to finalizing the design. Once the design is done, the next step will be to ID a vendor to do the production runs (already have a few in the queue). You can see pix of the fuel rail here and here.

Other than that, take a look at the many threads cross referenced in the two links above, and that will give you an idea of the different opinions and approaches to what is required for the conversion.
