ok so anyone had this prob. my passenger window(automatic)works fine with the passenger control,but with the driver control it only goes up.i cant make it go down with the drivers side control.i havent gotten as far as taking the door apart yet.thought maybe i could get some advice first.

The contact in one side of the switch has gone bad or the wire on that side has a connection problem.

Ask around - there are several folks here that have spares, or ones they have taken from their track cars.

I have a set of black ones that were fine when i removed them.

well i guess the switch is a gonner.if anybodys got a spare black window switch id sure be interested as long as its good.id be interested in a pair if youd like it better that way too.thanks much.
