they can be found at porsche, not expensive. But even with new bushings the mounting will be sloppy. Thats why i changed the front one to a home made aluminium bush. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

I have a NOS alt bushing on the shelf. $21.75 from Pelican or you can buy mine for $15 + shipping. Happy to combine shipping with other parts you may be looking for. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

If you don't buy Dan's bushing, dump the factory flexi-mount, get yourself a hockey puck and a hole saw. Drill the puck for a mounting bolt, centre the hole saw on the hole you just made and you'll end up with the perfect bushing and no more wonky alternators.
Do a search for "hockey puck fix".
HTH and have fun! _________________ '84 944 - kid blew motor

Hmm. Hockey pucks might be harder to come by in Hawaii than Porsche parts _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Heh, I had to order mine from Amazon.com, none of the local sports places sold them. _________________ Stefan

Hmm, hockey pucks were about $1/ea. You could also get them in different colors if you wanted. _________________ Stefan
